Mrs. Marie Galle Ladner, 72, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Monday, July 12, 2010, in Ocean Springs.

Mrs. Ladner was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of the coast. She was of the Lutheran faith and a fan of the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Braves. She was a very loving mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Ladner was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Griffin Galle; father, Howard Leo Galle; sister, Rose "Nitty" Bosarge; and three brothers, Leo Galle, Arthur Galle and Phillip Galle.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Winfred Gregory Ladner, Sr.; three daughters, Monica Michelle Frommeyer Ladner, Cheryl (Freddie, III) Steinwinder, and Karen (Mikey) Adams; one son, Winfred Gregory (LaRhonda) Ladner, Jr.; two sisters, Charlotte (Charles) Yost and Alberta Foster; eight grandchildren, Michael (Jania) Adams, Jr., Phillip Adams, Bridgett (Justin) Lopez, Jada Ladner, Brittany (Brad) Scott, Katie Frommeyer, Blake and Rachel Steinwinder; and five great grandchildren, Lil Michael and Faith Adams, Olivia, Gabriella and Deuce Lopez.

The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Mathew Miceli, his nurse Lynn, the staff at the Regional Cancer Center, MICU and second floor nursing staff of the Ocean Springs Hospital.

Funeral services were Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends visited from 12 noon until service time. Interment followed in Swetman Cemetery.

Major Menno Ronald Saunders, U.S. Air Force, Ret., age 90, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, in Ocean Springs.

Mr. Saunders was born in Canton, South Dakota on February 21, 1920. He graduated from the University of South Dakota where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1949 and his Masters in Business and Audit General from the Air Force University at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio. He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict and retired as a Major in the Air Force after 25 years of service. He then worked for the Dept. of Commerce in Washington D.C. for fourteen years, then started his own business as a CPA in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Upon retiring in 1986 he moved to Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Mary Mitchell Saunders and Lavon Holbrook.

Survivors include his children, Ronald (Amy) Saunders, Theresa Stuart, David (Betsy) Saunders, and Kathleen (Robert "Skip") Ordahl, step-children, Richard (Mary) Holbrook, Geraldine (John) Bond, Frances (Earl) Schubert, Maurveen Jarrett, and Cheryl Holbrook, sisters, Donna (Fred) Cusack and Lorraine Rudnick, grandchildren, Allie, C.J. and Erin Saunders, Mary and Sam Ordahl, Thomas and Sabine Saunders, and Amy (Michael) Clifford, and great-grandchildren, Rebeccah Keenum and Erin Clifford.

Visitation was on Friday, July 9, 2010, from 5 pm until 8 pm, with a 7 pm Rosary, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Saturday, July 10, 2010, there was a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, where friends visited from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery in Ocean Springs.

Mrs. Emilie M. "Toots" Diddlemeyer, 66, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Saturday, July 10, 2010, in Ocean Springs.

Mrs. Diddlemeyer was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of the coast. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Minus and Selema Goutreaux Bourgeois; her former husband, Billy R. Gray, Sr.; sister, Thelma "Moonie" Diddlemeyer; and brother, Gussie Bourgeois. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Lawrence Diddlemeyer of Ocean Springs; daughters, Selema Diddlemeyer and Violet Winterstein, both of Ocean Springs; four sons, Billy R. Gray, Jr. and Brian Diddlemeyer of Ocean Springs, Scott Gray of Crofton, Kentucky, and Joseph Gray of Biloxi; ten grandchildren; one great grandson; four nephews; two nieces, and several great nieces and great nephews..

Visitation was Tuesday, July 13, 2010, from 5 until 9 p.m., with recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. A Mass of Christian Burial was at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Blessed Seelos Catholic Church where friends visited one hour before service time. Interment followed at Biloxi National Cemetery.

Thomas L. "Tom" Reynolds, Sr., age 77, went to meet his Lord on Wed., July 7, 2010 at his home in Gautier.

He was born to John Hosey and Pearl Cooley Reynolds in Ovett, MS, where he lived until he enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 17. He served twenty dedicated years on assignments in Germany, Iceland, Turkey, France and Vietnam until he retired in 1971 as a Vehicle Maintenance Superintendent.

MSgt. Reynolds received many awards and medals including the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Bronze Star. While in Vietnam, Tom served in the "Prime Beef" Red Horse Division.

After retirement, he chose a second career as sales manager at Mitchell Motors, in Pascagoula where he worked until retirement.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, John Hosey and Pearl Reynolds; daughter Patricia Ann Reynolds; sister, Sadie Speed and his three brothers, James, Virgil, and Bob Reynolds.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Reynolds; son, Thomas (Cathy) Reynolds, Jr., grandsons, Thomas (Noelle) Reynolds, III and Patrick J. Reynolds and his granddaughter, Nicole Duplichien.

Visitation was on Friday, July 9, 2010 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe. There was a Graveside Service Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with military honors at Crestlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to be sent to Gautier United Methodist Church in his honor.

Mr. Donald Ray Waltman, Sr., age 44, of Vancleave, MS., died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, in New Orleans, LA.

Mr. Waltman was born on August 16, 1965, in Biloxi, MS. and was a lifelong resident of Vancleave. He was a former employee of Walters Diving and Marine in Pascagoula, and was currently employed with Cheyenne Steel out of Mobile, AL. He was easy going, very laid back and enjoyed the outdoors, mainly fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed singing karaoke, mostly singing to his wife, "Don't close your Eyes" by Keith Whitley.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Waltman, sisters, Ida Waltman and Bernadette Waltman, brother, Sam Bang, and brother-in-law, Kenny Joe Howard.

Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Rhonda Rene' Wilson Waltman, was a loving father to his five children, two daughters, Erin Waltman and Courtney Waltman, three sons, Donald Ray "D.J." Waltman, Jr., Shane Waltman, and Troy Wehr, two sisters, Annie Howard and Rita Griffith, brother, Robert Glen "Nuke" Waltman, father-in-law, Louis Waltman, two half-brothers, John Waltman and James Waltman, two half-sisters, Linda Creel and Martha "Munk" Pipkin, and several nieces and nephews.

As your family, we want you to know that even though your time was short, we know that God needed another Angel so he chose you. You will be deeply missed here, but in our hearts we know that you will be waiting for us at those Pearly Gates. We will wait until then when the good Lord calls us home, and we will once again be reunited in God's beautiful Kingdom where we will spend eternity with Him.

Visitation was on Friday, July 9, 2010, from 11 am until 12 noon, with a 12 noon chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial followed in Vancleave Holiness Church Cemetery in Vancleave, MS.

Mr. Curtis R. Wiysel, age 81, of Vancleave, MS., died Sunday, July 4, 2010, in Ocean Springs, MS.

Mr. Wiysel was a lifelong resident of the coast and retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding. He served in the US Army and and was a veteran of WWII. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vancleave.

He was preceded in by his wife, parents, brother and son -in-law.

Survivors include his daughter, Mary F. Walker, four grandchildren, Donnie Walker, Charlene Walker, Barbara Walker and Lewis Walker, eight great-grandchildren, Jessica Walker, Haley Walker, Carmen Walker, Keiden Gollotte, Seairra Gollotte, Donnovan Gollotte, Matthew Gollott, Mary Walker, brothers, Frank Wiysel and Raymond Wiysel, and sister, Mary Watson.

Visitation was on Monday, July 12, 2010, from 2 PM until 3 PM with a 3 PM church service, all at the First Baptist Church of Vancleave.

The Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
